Mark Your Calendars for Giving Tuesday!

Learning is a collaborative journey. The Junior League of Fort Myers provides its members with tools, support and training to support their development as community and civic leaders. We are committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Our members are currently designing new community project ideas that help support our community partners and our mission of women and children’s mental health. We just recently completed a Calming Caddy Assembly Project for local schools and JLFM members funded the costs for the first 10 Caddies!

JLFM sustaining members are hosting “Kindness Kitchen”, an event to restock the The Ronald McDonald House® of SWFL kitchen with much needed kitchen essentials as part of their major expansion to enlarge from 6 rooms to 12 rooms. New Programs have been implemented, such as a new Diversity and Inclusion Task Force, with the purpose of developing and leading the League’s Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives to fufill the JLFM commitment made in 2018 to inclusive enviroments of diverse individuals, organizations, and communities. The team has been reviewing AJLI resources built to assist in the development of a task force and plan on sending members to attend AJLI and community trainings to support this commitment

We encourage you to make a donation and think of us on Giving Tuesday coming up on December 1, so we can continue to fulfill our mission of developing the leadership of women to improve our communities. Every dollar of your donation makes a difference to the women and children of Southwest Florida and our community partners! To donate to Jlfm, please click here.
