JLFM Sustainers provided 50 Welcome Home Kits for The Salvation Army’s Rapid ReHousing program. This program helps families find housing within 30 days of losing their homes, providing stability and security.

The Salvation Army provided a list of necessary supplies and equipment needed: a broom, mop, bucket, paper towels, toilet paper, and basic cleaning supplies that most of us take for granted.

JLFM sustainers donated funds for the kits, and on May 1, 2017 twenty sustainers met to package and present the 50 Welcome Home Kits to The Salvation Army. Many of the families in the Rapid ReHousing program had little or nothing when they were place in their new homes.
