– The Junior League of Fort Myers is proud to pre-announce
the winners of this year’s Taste of the Town “Best of”
Awards! This is the first year that the Junior League
has pre-announced winners and is a direct results of
feedback from attendees – people want to save room and taste
“The Best” the Taste of the Town has to offer—and now they
can!
All participating restaurants were eligible to win one of the
following titles that were awarded by 9 community celebrity
judges and 3 kid judges:

About Taste of the Town
Taste of the Town will be held on Sunday,
November 5, 2006, at 11am till 5pm in Centennial Park in
downtown Fort Myers. This event is a family oriented
festival that caters to over 15,000 people from all over
Southwest Florida. The concept, started 24 years ago,
allows the community to “taste” the signature dishes from
top local restaurants while enjoying entertainment for all
ages. Taste of the Town is the largest single food and
entertainment festival in Southwest Florida. Entry tickets
to the Taste of the Town are $4 in advance at all Publix
Supermarkets in Lee County or $5 at the event.
Taste of the Town is the signature annual fund raising event
of the Junior League of Fort Myers, Inc. Proceeds are
given back to the community through the League’s service
projects.
