Endowment-Building for the Future

The Junior League of Fort Myers is working hard to increase the dollars in its Endowment Fund. Currently the fund has approximately $35,000.  Once we have enough money in the fund, it will enable us to fund our operating expenses so that we can put more of our fundraising dollars back into the community. Planned Giving-Gifts that Create a Legacy

Planned giving is a unique philanthropic tool that allows you to promote the Junior League of Fort Myers' ability to do good work in our community while also fulfilling your own financial objectives. There are many ways in which you can leave a positive legacy to the Junior League that will shine on into the future. Some of the ways that you can help include giving gifts through a Will or Living Trust, gifts of Retirement Plan Assets, gifts that Pay Income, gifts of Real Estate and gifts of Life Insurance.

Recycling Program & Fundraiser

The Junior League of Fort Myers is involved in the FundingFactory ® Recycling Program! This fundraiser is FREE and simple because there’s nothing to sell, no paperwork to fill out and no deadline. The program runs year-round, accumulating constant income for our efforts. But we won’t get very far without your support.

How can you help? Please talk to your family, friends, colleagues and neighbors. Instead of throwing away empty printer cartridges and used cell phones, bring them to the League office or email us to make arrangements. By recycling the cartridges and cell phones, the League will receive up to $10/cartridge and $25/phone to help us with our future projects and funding needs.

For an approved list of devices/cartridges, you can visit http://www.fundingfactory.com/programs/recycling/qualifying_ items.aspx?type=cell.   For any mobile devices not on the list, these will be donated to the local police for distribution to women's shelters (provided they have the power cord).  Power cords & other mobile device accessories are not needed if they are on the approved list; when in doubt, please bring all items, and place in the provided zip-top bags within the drop boxes.  If you have any questions about this great opportunity, please contact us.
