Since the JLFM’s founding in 1966, the League has contributed more than 1,000,000 volunteer hours and over $1,000,000 to community projects and programs.  JLFM’s members are career women, working mothers, stay-at-home moms, and full-time and part-time volunteers of all ages who represent a variety of races, religions and ethnic origins, each committed to making a difference in the local community.

The Junior League of Fort Myers, Inc., a member of the Association of Junior League international, Inc., is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The Junior League of Fort Myers reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origin who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.
